Jaipur
Jaipur is a largest city and Capital of Rajasthan which was founded on 18 November 1727 by King Jai Singh. This city is worldwide famous in name of “Pink City of India” the reason behind this name is its dominant color on each buildings of the city. Jaipur city is situated approximately 280 kms away from Indian capital New Delhi. Infrastructure of Jaipur is completely unique. It has been planned by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya keeping the Vastu Shastra in Mind in 1727. Similarly, the gate situated at west end is called “Chand Pol” which means moon gate. The structure of the city is unique in comparison of other well developed cities in terms of sectors and streets but as per Master plan -2025 launched for development and Infrastructure of Jaipur city by Surendra Goyal who is Rajasthan Minister of state for Urban Development and housing- it will be urbanised like other big cities of India.
